Terms and Conditions
- Additional fees apply for certain services and amenities (gratuity, chauffeur greetings inside the airport, baggage handling, car seats, etc.) Gas surcharges and wait time are not included.
- All flight passengers must meet their drivers at the specified requested area. If your driver has not made contact with you, once you have collected your luggage, clients must contact American Sedan at (703) 764-4491, or it will result in a no-show fee of the full amount plus the wait time.
- Your chauffeur will be immediately notified that you are ready to be picked up. Passengers are given a 30-minute grace period to meet their driver. After this period, an additional fee will be added based on the hourly rates to the final charges.
- An additional fee will be added to the rate on service between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. EST in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. Please note that domestic and international fees fluctuate worldwide for this service.
- An additional fee will be added to services provided on holidays.
- Additional fees may apply in the event of snow storms and other serious weather conditions that affect travel (rates are subject to change).
- Waiting time will apply for pick-ups from home/office after 10 minutes. Waiting time for airport pick-ups will apply 30 minutes after the plane has landed. After this grace period, an additional fee of the hourly rate will be applied to the final charges.
- American Sedan will check on the status of the flight's arrival, while clients are responsible for providing the correct flight information in order for American Sedan to be able to check the incoming flight. However, American Sedan will not be tracking outbound flights.
Cancellation Policy
In order to ensure timely notification, the client must contact a team member by phone at (703) 764-4491 between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. EST. A four-hour notice of cancellation is required to avoid cancellation fees in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. You must inquire with the cancellation policy for special events.
Once the driver has been assigned, the expected reservation total will be charged in the event of cancellation. This can include fees for drivers' wait time. Additional fees apply for certain services and amenities (chauffeur greetings inside the airport, baggage handling, car seats, etc.).
In the case of flight diversions, clients are responsible for providing American Sedan with location and/or time changes in a timely manner. Failure to do so will result in reservation cancellation and/or additional wait time fees. Any updates or cancellations must be verified with a confirmation email of the updates. In the event that you have not received a confirmation email from us with the changes, please contact our office immediately. It is your responsibility to ensure updated confirmation was received to avoid any no-show fees.
